Travis Lantz, an undergraduate student in Professor Chopra’s research group, was awarded Outstanding Oral Presentation at the ECI ACS Undergraduate Research Conference at the University of Illinois. His talk was titled, "Computational Drug Design: A Multitargeted Approach in Bladder Cancer."

“My research involves developing small molecules that are designed to differentially target a panel proteins associated with bladder cancer and modulate nitric oxide production in the tumor microenvironment,” Lantz explained.

A native of Fort Wayne, Lantz is a double major in Chemistry (ACS) and Biochemistry.
